Brand Identity design for a French patisserie-cafe
Who was the client?
A cafe opening as the first French patisserie in Kolkata. It’s located in the hub of the city, a popular area frequented by millennials.
What was the problem?
The brief was to develop a robust identity for Rouge, one that captured the essence of a French patisserie, and drove home the point that it was the very first one in Kolkata. An appealing identity to attract the target group of youngsters.
What we did:
The first step was developing the name ‘Rouge’, which was inspired by Red velvet cupcakes. The brand identity, visual language on collaterals, packaging, signage, and look and feel of the patisseries was designed to convey a piece of Paris in Kolkata.
